Peering after me from coffin.
Premonition in the cliff’s heart
Neared me with the unearthly.
How tenderly she whispered stanzas,
Descending at night to me,
And nearness of my catastrophes
She opened in a dream.
Bells submissive to her,
Pets of far-off fields,
Rang to me rhymes and in ringing
Weaved the alleys’ dreams.
Today in a bookstore,
When for her a tome I had bought,
I knew, how thin, how clear
Are the blue thoughts,
That with her we are tightly bound,
That led her each step of mine:
On the first page heavenly
Heavenly was her hands’ sign.
Two-three words dedicated,
To someone far – to me!
You gave away bliss to me again,
I will see you in a dream.
Hands of her pattern dear,
To the soul you’re dearer and closer,
Like the sea – silent mountains,
Like in fiery deer – sand.
How happy I have been, it happened,
Thus I will – again and again.
She thus me pampered,
As only the mother can.
